Art City Tattoo, established in Salt Lake City in 2005, features artists who have all worked together since as early as 1995 and have all established themselves as respected artists in Salt Lake City. Each has their own loyal followers who span over much of the Intermountain West as well as locally. Each are responsible, talented artists with their own distinctive, innovative and diverse style and are able to help you design your tattoo just like you want it—or even better!
Art City Tattoo practices rigid sterilization techniques. The most current and proven sterilization methods are used in addition to providing new needles for every customer and disposable ink dispensers. You will be at ease in your own private room with our professional, courteous and congenial artists. Custom tattoos and creative cover-ups are our specialties.
Custom tattoos allow you to more aptly express your personal creativity. Design, size and placement of the tattoo, as well as the subject matter are all important factors to consider when choosing a tattoo. You may want help in choosing a design that best expresses YOU. At Art City Tattoo, our artists will work with you to help in every aspect of the creation you desire. You will receive top quality art work at a competitive and affordable price! You are invited to come in and check out the artists’ portfolios, observe our techniques and prepare for an enjoyable experience. Remember, you must be 18 or older to receive a tattoo. Travis
Travis has been an artist his entire life and has won a multitude of awards in various art mediums. Realizing the ultimate canvas is the skin, he pursued his dreams and became a full-time professional tattoo artist in 1995. He became renowned throughout the Intermountain West for diversity and excellence in his field. He has tattooed on radio talk shows twice with Danger Boy on KzHT 97.1 and once with Shamus on KBEE 98.7 as well as the Fox 13 TV Ally McKay morning show. When he opened his own “Art City Tattoo” in 2005, his loyal customers followed, contributing greatly to his success.
Travis believes there is a “perfect tattoo” for everyone. He states, “For me the beauty of this art form begins with helping someone discover their inner vision.” He then has the ability to artistically display this “perfect tattoo” from the inside-out.
John
John has been tattooing locally since 1998 in a constant push to evolve into a better artist. He specializes in freehand custom work of all sizes but is up to any challenge. John says, “My work speaks for itself,” and all of his fans who belong to his community are agreeing on this.
Jed
Since 2002, Jed has been working as a tattoo artist with us in a very professional way. He has been part of our business since it opened in 2005. In 2004, he was a featured artist in LISTEN Magazine. Jed says, “When it comes to my art, I like to keep my horizons broad. I don’t want to limit myself to one style or genre.”
Jason
Jason started his career as a Tattoo atrist in 2003 A.D. He was trained by John Carpenter, another one of our world class artists, and continues to prove himself as a talented tattoo artist. Jason looks at every tattoo as an opportunity to learn and improve. He has developed a particular love for creating bright and vivid colors.
